McNaughtonPresidentFraser McNaughton is ICON’s Vice President. He has been heavily involved with ICON (APSMA) for 8 years, having initially joined the NSW Committee before his Board appointment in 2013. As VP, Fraser is dedicated to working with our member firm CMOs to jointly grow the capabilities and the standing of ICON’s members within their respective firms.
For a day job Fraser is Chief Marketing Officer of leading mid-tier firm, Grant Thornton Australia. Based in Sydney he leads a national team of highly experienced and enthusiastic marketing, sales and communications professionals, together responsible for defining and delivering Grant Thornton’s go to market vison, strategy and objectives. Fraser is an experienced and intuitive marketing and sales professional who, as a member of Grant Thornton’s senior leadership team, has a particular passion for improving client interactions as a driver of better experiences and the foundation to brand loyalty and sustainable revenue growth.
Outside of work Fraser enjoys quality time with his family and prolonging his football career as long as he can.
BlackburnVice PresidentSarah has been involved in ICON for over six years, starting as a Committee Member and Chair of the Queensland Committee, before moving to Hong Kong and joining the committee there. In the last two years Sarah has been a member of the team delivering the Australia & New Zealand Conference and joined the ICON Board of Directors in 2017.
Sarah has over 14 years experience in marketing and business development with 12 of those in professional services in Hong Kong and Australia
Sarah is currently Client Relationship Program Manager at GHD and has previously held senior marketing and business development roles at UDIA (Qld), PwC, URS and John Holland.
MiltonCompany SecretaryJason is a senior business development and marketing professional with more than 20 years experience, across nearly the full spectrum of professional services. He has worked in major law firms in Australia and internationally, including Herbert Smith Freehills, Linklaters and Mayer Brown, a large management construction firm, Turner & Townsend and accountancy firm Grant Thornton. His roles have included managing high performing teams across EMEA while in the UK and Asia Pac when in Australia, across multiple offices and locations.
Jason has worked across various different aspects of business development and marketing, looking after regions, sectors, business units/practice groups, key account clients and various marketing activities, all the way from strategic advice and support through to managing and running events.
Jason currently heads up the BD and Marketing team for Deloitte in Queensland. His role covers, strategic support to the business, BD, account management, marketing, communications and events working with many of Australia’s largest companies and brands. Jason’s focus is on ensuring everything that is undertaken is client centric and leads to achieving the best results for clients.Jason is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Chartered Marketeer.
Jason is married with three children, manages a couple of his daughters basketball teams and when he has time likes to keep active, playing squash, tennis, running, swimming and kayaking, which he will continue to do as long as his body will allow.
WuTreasurerJessie has over 15 years of professional accounting experience with multiple roles demonstrating her versatility, resilience and a drive to succeed. She is currently the Group Finance Lead for Business Platform in Mirvac. Prior to her current role, Jessie has been the Financial Controller for Corporate and Shares services in Mirvac for three and half years. Jessie is CPA qualified and holds a Master of Accounting from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Management in Accounting from Beijing University.
Jessie is optimistic and full of zest. Her passion and determination to create a better future energises and inspires her audience. Jessie believes accounting is a language. An “articulate” finance leader will bring simplicity and synergy to process, system and reporting, which leads to better decision making. By breaking down the language barrier, Jessie is driving a universal understanding for all stakeholders, clients, team members and colleagues. Jessie believes life is about experience and sharing. Her goal is to create a fun, diverse and high performing team, company and eventually contribute to a more vibrant community.
Outside of work Jessie enjoys quality time with her family and friends, reading, travelling, skiing and singing Karaoke.
ThomasBoard MemberPenny has been involved in ICON since 2012, starting as a Committee Member in the Victorian Chapter, before moving to Singapore and joining the committee there. Penny then led the Singapore Chapter as the Singapore Chair for over 18 months, bringing the chapter from the post start-up phase to one of ICON's most successful new chapters, before joining the ICON Board of Directors in 2016.
Penny has over 12 years' experience in business development, client engagement, marketing and communications in the professional services sector and has worked for large professional services firms in Australia and Singapore.
Currently based in Singapore, Penny is the Head of Business Development Marketing, Asia Pacific at JLL, the world’s best known property firm. At JLL, Penny is responsible for driving the business development and client development strategy for JLL’s regional offering, across 16 markets in Asia Pacific.
Outside of JLL and ICON, Penny is a keen traveller and loves good food, F45 training and surfing.
NadkarniBoard Member Priyanka as been involved with ICON since 2015, firstly as a Committee Member and then as the Co-Vice Chair of the Singapore chapter; helping to build the chapter’s thought leadership events and digital communications channels. She joined the ICON Board of Directors in September 2018.
Priyanka has 14+ years of strategy, marketing and communications experience, predominantly in Financial Services where she worked for both ANZ and Westpac Banking Corporation. After starting her career in Melbourne, Australia, she has been based in Singapore for 8+ years, looking after regional marketing; with experience in 24 Asia Pacific markets.
Priyanka is the Founder and Managing Director of Window Seat Group, a B2B Strategic Marketing consultancy, helping brands integrate digital tools, channels and capabilities into existing marketing agendas. She specialises in bespoke strategy projects that adopt the latest marketing approaches and technologies, helping clients to stay ahead of trends and adapt quickly.
HealyBoard MemberDan is a senior business development and marketing professional with over 20 years of experience managing high performing teams. He specializes in sales, pursuit management, presentation coaching, client attraction, retention and key account growth. Dan has had extensive international experience and has spent the past 12 years building and managing multi market teams, gaining detailed knowledge and experience across the EMEA and APAC regions in the process.
In his current role as the APAC Head of Business Development at Tag, Dan is responsible for the overall growth agenda for the company within the region. He is in charge of a large team of solutions focused business development professionals, who are deployed with an in-market philosophy and structure, facilitating conversations from local, into regional and beyond.
CumiskeyBoard MemberSamantha has been involved with ICON since 2012, firstly on the Victoria Committee and later as Victoria Co-Chair, followed by a position on the Queensland Committee. She was also involved in the creation of ICON's Mentoring Program and has been on the Planning Committee for a number of the Australian conferences.
With 10 years' experience working in the professional services sector, Samantha has experience across business development, client pursuits and engagement and marketing and communications. She currently manages the business development team at Colin Biggers & Paisley Lawyers, a role which encompasses all business development and client pursuit initiatives. As a new function within the firm, this has involved the implementation of strategy, processes and resources to support a wide range of BD and client pursuit initiatives.
A mum of two, Samantha enjoys family holidays and keeping active and has a keen interest in renovating and interior design.
CorcoranBoard MemberVivienne has been an enthusiastic member and presenter for APSMA and now ICON since back in the days when there were 8 large accounting firms.
Vivienne started her working life with actuaries and has since held marketing and strategy director roles for accountants, engineers, IP and IT firms, lawyers and more recently agronomists working and presenting all over Australasia and throughout UK and Asia. Along the way she spent 15 years in brand strategy, developing and rolling out brands for B2B and B2C brands such as Telstra, ANZ and NEC. In the last 10 plus years Vivienne has developed a real passion for the voice of the client. She has interviewed 000s of clients and developed and delivered client feedback programs. She is the author of “Growing Your Professional Practice”. More recently Vivienne has taken this passion to the books and is working on a PhD in client feedback with Edinburgh Business School.
Alongside her professional career, Vivienne has 25 years’ experience as a qualified company director, sitting on boards of health, education and arts organisations. Apart from sitting on the Board of ICON, she is currently Chair of Statewide Autistic Services, is on the board of Victorian Opera and owns Melbourne’s oldest independent wine shop The Wigs Cellar with her husband. She has two grown sons and loves reading, art, live music, paddle boarding and, obviously, food and wine.
LolasBoard MemberMona Lolas is an accomplished Global Sales and Marketing Executive with over 25 years of experience in High Tech and Consulting.
As an industry veteran who is passionate about technology and marketing, Mona has deep expertise in B-to-B technology marketing and sales leadership. She has in-depth knowledge of marketing disciplines including strategy and planning, channel marketing, content creation, customer and industry marketing, demand creation, events, and public and analyst relations.
She is currently the B2B Solution Partner at Forrester leading the Sirius Decisions and B2B Product in AsiaPacific. Prior to joining Forrester-Sirius Decisions, Mona held senior roles at companies such as Autodesk, Symantec, Intel, Sun Microsystems, Microsoft, Optus, Telstra, and IBM. She served as a Board Director at AMI, Australian Marketing Institute.
Mona has a passion for promoting women in leadership positions and advocating to empower girls to STEAM roles. Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute (FAMI), Certified Practicing Marketer (CPM). Current Member of Forrester Diversity and Inclusion Council.
