Meet our speakers:

Russel has over 25 years’ experience in marketing and media. He has held leadership roles across industry and agencies and brings this vast experience to his role as PwC's Chief Creative Officer.

He's worked with many of Australia's iconic brands and is the champion of big and brave ideas that transform business and brands. He's well known for his outspoken opinion in the media and ABC1’s ‘Gruen’ and has published a book on the subject - ‘When It's Right To Be Wrong’.

Russel’s unmissable keynote session will explore Australia's creativity deficit.

John Kilkenny, Head of B2B Marketing and Strategic Sales, QBE Insurance

John leads QBE’s Australia and New Zealand marketing team, with a focus on strategic account management, opportunity conversion and B2B engagement. Join John in his CQ session as he shares insights on the best-practice for client engagement strategy and programs.

Anna Crameri, General Manager of Planning and Developments, RPS Group

Anna’s talk will be tailored to preparing strategic, client or marketing plans that involve new ways of working. This talk will discuss the impact that you can make and how you can inspire people, her talk will explore the tools needed to achieve these goals.

Michelle Mahoney, Executive Director of Innovation, King & Wood Mallesons

Michelle has extensive knowledge of the professional services industry. In her role as Executive Director, she is responsible for the design and delivery of the innovation agenda and portfolio for King & Wood Mallesons. She will be sharing her insights on marketing services, technology, innovation, design thinking practices and delivering value to clients.

Jason McKenzie, Director, Katanya

With over 15 years’ experience in professional services marketing and on the ICON board, Jason will share the latest industry developments in emerging technologies. He will also discuss how to create a client-centric technology innovation agenda.


Dawn inspires and leads Cisco’s Asia Pacific & Japan regional marketing team, supporting the organisation’s extensive service provider business.

She is a passionate and skilled leader that delivers focused leadership to a highly diverse team managing over 25 countries in the broader Asia Pacific region. Also a seasoned technology marketer and experienced sales manager Dawn has over 15 years’ experience in technology marketing working for some of the world’s leading brands including AAPT, Fairfax New Zealand, BlackBerry and NBN. She is highly effective in stakeholder management, she is also a passionate team player and personable leader, driving and promoting both team and individual growth and success. She has a Bachelor of Communications and is a board member of Hunter Women’s Health Centre and 6 Hats Early Childhood Service. She resides in Sydney where she is a mother to three boys.

Dawn will be bringing her unique experience, energy and insight to her keynote session.


Trisca Scott-Branagan, Head of Marketing, ANZ Bank

Awarded Marketing Executive of the year by CEO Magazine and ranked as one of Australia’s most innovative CMOs by CMO Australia, Trisca will be sharing insights from her experience in professional services and marketing. She is an Advisory Board member of the Association for Data-Driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA), the Institute for Analytics Professionals of Australia (IAPA) and the Deakin University School of Marketing.

Mark McInnes, Executive Coach and Trainer

Mark is ranked Australia’s #1 social seller and will show you how to drive revenue through under-utilised tools such as LinkedIn. He will also help you find and engage with customers in an ethical way. He draws heavily on his experience in the Australian Army as an Assault Trooper along with his experience in media Sales, FMCG, B2B business equipment, entertainment, hospitality, management consulting, marketing and SaaS in his talks.

Simon is the Co-Creator of the Festival of Dangerous Ideas, Director of The Ethics Centre and has been named one of AFR’s ‘True Leaders’.

Simon has a PhD in Philosophy from Cambridge and has lectured at Cambridge University and consulted to the Cambridge Commonwealth and Overseas Trusts. Simon was inaugural President of The Australian Association for Professional & Applied Ethics and is a Fellow of the World Economic Forum. He was formerly Chairman of the International Advisory Board of the Genographic Project and Deputy Chairman of the Global Reporting Initiative Board.

Simon will be bringing this wealth of experience and knowledge to his headline session.

Registration categories

Practitioner registration is suitable for attendees whose roles are technically focused. The practitioner registration provides access to all practitioner stream sessions and other conference activities however this ticket will not provide access to the leadership stream and its sessions.
Leader registration is suitable for attendees who hold senior roles within their organisation. Best suited to chief marketing officers, senior managers and discipline leaders, this ticket provides access to all conference activities including the exclusive leadership focused sessions, as well as the more technical practitioner focused sessions. 
 Cocktail party registration is suitable for attendees who can’t make the conference, but would still like to take the opportunity to connect and network with their peers. This registration will provide access to the conference cocktail party on the evening of 18 October but does not provide access to any of the conference’s other components.
