ICON is committed to providing value to our members. We want to support you to advance your career by recognising and rewarding the work you put into continuous learning.

ICON members now have the opportunity to earn a digital credential - the ICON Practitioner Badge - to showcase your skills as a B2B marketing/BD/communications professional.

Once earned, your badge can be shared on LinkedIn and added to your CV, to show the world your achievement.

To earn your ICON Practitioner Badge, simply view four webinars from our webinar library which have been flagged as eligible and complete the short assessment.

  • You must be a registered ICON Member to be eligible. A link to a recording of each webinar included in the program will be added here after the event:
  • You will also be able to print off a certificate if you wish to have a physical copy.


  • The assessments will be collated at the end of each quarter at which time you will be sent your ICON Practitioner Badge if you have qualified.
  • Credit for assessments completed in one quarter will be carried over to the next until you have finished four eligible sessions in the year.

The ICON Practitioner Badge is a great way to validate your professional accomplishments and promote your skills. If you’re not currently an ICON member, there is no better time to join so that you can take full advantage of the program. How do I earn an ICON Badge?

ICON Practitioner Badge

After the webinar has been held, a follow-up email with links to the recording and the assessment questions will be sent to all registered participants. Alternatively there are links to the assessment questions next to the recordings in the webinar library.

To secure the Practitioner Badge, you must complete assessments for at least four webinars.

Every quarter, we will review the assessments and anyone who is eligible will be sent their badge via our digital portal managed by Credly.

You can carry over credits for completed assessments into the next quarter, but all four webinars must be completed by the end of the calendar year (Jan-Dec) to qualify. Eligibility will start again from the next calendar year.

ICON Fast Track Badge

This is awarded to participants in the Next Step program.

Participants must attend all sessions in the program to be eligible.

ICON Committee Member Badge

This is awarded to committee members for each year they are involved.

Members must be on the committee for at least six months of the calendar year to qualify.

How often is the badge issued?

If you have qualified, the badges will be issued every quarter, by completing four eligible assessments.

How long is the badge valid?

The ICON Practitioner Badge is valid for one year from the date it was awarded. To qualify again next year, you will need to complete four webinars and assessments again.
