About the speaker

Matt Granfield, General Manager, Marketing and Communications at Brisbane Marketing Matt brings a wealth of tourism and business experience to Brisbane Marketing, previously heading the marketing and digital divisions for one of Australia’s largest hotel groups and a leading Queensland bank. Prior to his corporate career, Matt spent more than a decade in leadership positions in a number of prominent advertising, PR and digital agencies, consulting for some of Australia’s biggest (and smallest) companies. Matt studied marketing at Harvard Business School, has an MBA from UQ, a communications degree, is a Certified Practicing Marketer and Manager, a fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute, an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
