Mark Rigotti is the Global Chief Executive Officer and a Partner of Herbert Smith Freehills. He has responsibility for the global strategy and operations of the organisation. This role involves leading the firm of in excess of 4,750 people across more than 27 offices spanning Australia, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the USA with annual revenues approaching A$2 billion. It is underpinned by a deep belief in serving clients as well as possible, obsessing about their needs and constantly asking clients about what they need and want. Prior to that Mark led the Corporate and Finance divisions of the firm as well as practising as a finance lawyer with a focus on project financing.
Mark is a member of the firm's Global Partnership Council, Chair of the Global Executive and Immediate Past Chair of the Global Diversity and Inclusivity Group.
Mark is also a director of various Not for Profit organisations including the European Australian Business Council; Redkite and Marymount International School for Girls (London).
He is also a member of the Business Council of Australia and the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
