We are delighted to welcome you to join us for our next APSMA Advanced Dinner for 2016, with guest speaker Marianne Roux.
Effective leadership in ever increasingly complex environments continues to present as an issue for today’s leaders. Organisations expect people to do things better and faster with fewer resources. Senior leaders regularly share they feel they are ‘distracted’ from truly focusing on their role and getting into deep work but are pulled from pillar to post in the demands of daily corporate life. They have lost their ability to focus and often display “attention deficit traits”. Their response is to become short term focused, controlling or avoidant. They lose their ability to deal effectively with complex issues and do deep, innovative work that will ensure the ongoing competitiveness of their organisations. They are also not able to learn complex skills and do systems thinking vital to running agile organisations.
Please join us to hear from Marianne on why senior leadership needs to deal with this issue to ensure they and their organisations don’t become overwhelmed and get left behind.
APSMA is pleased to donate $500 from this event to Everyday Hero to support Justice For Future Generations
