Next Step session 1 - Pathways to progressing your career

Have you stopped to think about how you are progressing your career?

It’s important to take the time to identify your pathway and career goals right from the start of your career – whether in a holistic or prescriptive way. What’s also important is to make sure you are planning with intel, research and an understanding of what is happening in the market BUT it takes time to amass this level of information.

Luckily, Seldon Rosser has done the work for you. They have built success in marketing, communications and BD recruitment for professional services firms across the Asia Pacific Region and will be sharing their insights to Coordinators/Executives/Advisors to ensure that you get the right advice in this pivotal phase of setting the building blocks of your career.

Your speakers, Katie Rosser and Nanik Dershaye, will give you an overview of trends in the market, what’s happening in the changing marketing landscape, share what high performance looks like (from the prospect of leaders in the market) and the skills BD & Marketing teams value.

Katie & Nanik’s presentation will include:

  • Skills and experience in demand – present and future
  • Trends in role types
  • Specialise v generalist
  • Moving between sectors
  • Changes coming into the industry
  • Addressing FAQs from Coordinator/Executive professionals about their careers
  • How to find a good mentor
  • What does high performance look like
  • Career case studies
