We are delighted to invite you to the final APSMA SA event of the year where Professor Adrian Payne, from the University of New South Wales will lead us through a masterclass session on, “Creating Client Value in Professional Services”, which will be followed by end-of-year celebratory drinks.  

Professor Payne has extensive experience in educating marketers on the value of client relationships. In this special extended masterclass session, he will specifically focus on professional services marketing and talk us through the following topics:

  • The characteristics of an effective client-orientation
  • Creating client value in PSFs
  • The ACURA model for building relationships
  • The role of advocacy
  • Effective key account management
  • Best practice client development

About the speaker

Professor Adrian Payne joined the University of New South Wales in 2006 as Professor of Services Marketing. Prior to joining UNSW he was Director of the Centre for CRM, Academic Leader of the Marketing Group and Professor of Services & Relationship Marketing at the Cranfield School of Management, one of Britain's leading business schools. From 1998 – 2012 he was Chairman of the Advisory Board and a Partner in Vectia Ltd, a European strategy consulting firm. Professor Payne has acted as a consultant and educator to a large number of professional service firms. His clients have included Accenture, the Big 4 accounting firms, 6 legal firms, and actuarial and insurance broking firms; as well as many leading companies that include Mercedes-Benz, British Airways, Rolls-Royce, IBM and HSBC.
