In a fast paced and digitalised world, professional firms are facing challenges to their business models. To help firms stay ahead of the competition, we are seeing unprecedented number of mergers and restructuring in the industry. In the face of such disruptions, how do we ensure that we are in the best frame of mind to tackle these challenges ahead?

Coaching is key to ensuring your teams are equipped with the right skills in this environment, and coaching is increasingly recognised as a basic competency of leadership. Through coaching, we create space to reflect and listen to ourselves, gaining self-awareness during the process. Coaching equips us with the mindset that we each can be empowered to develop our personal strengths and maximise our potential.

In this session, we explore some of the skills and techniques that coaches use and understand how these could be applied in our professional and personal lives.

In this session, you will learn:

I - What is coaching and why is coaching relevant in today’s workplace?

Dispelling the myths of coaching – how is coaching different from training / managing / mentoring?

How companies are using coaching in the workplace?

II - How coaching can help us on a personal level

The coaching process

Tips and techniques to help us reframe and develop new habits of thinking

III – Using coaching in the workplace

Coaching toolkit – how to use coaching in various situations
