In this interactive webinar, George Beaton and Paul Hugh-Jones from beaton will share insights from their new client research on Innovation in law and consulting engineering about what types of innovation clients want and value.
Everyone is talking about innovation, clients are demanding innovation, there is a great deal of activity and even more positioning … but is this creating greater value for clients? How does that influence clients’ attitude to the firm? And, what’s in it for firms?
Despite all the talk and activity, our beatonbenchmarks survey tracking data shows that innovation continues to be relatively unimportant with regard to choice of firm, or clients’ satisfaction with incumbents. And to boot, most firms are rated poorly on innovation by their clients.
This mismatch led to beaton co-developing our Innovation research with the CMOs and innovation heads of several leading firms.
The research unpacks what types of innovation clients want and value, how that compares with the innovation firms are bringing to them, how different types of innovation influence firm choice, comments on outstanding examples, gaps etc. It provides structure and direction to firms innovation investments and efforts, and will help fill the gaps that currently exist in client innovation needs.
