You’ve prepared an amazing pitch or have written a compelling proposition for a client - it's ready to go to the client until someone mentions pricing!  While getting paid for our work is critical, for many of us this may be the last – and possibly least discussed - part of the process. 

Pricing is not just about getting a number down, it's an essential element in positioning, branding and delivering value to clients. Libby Maynard, an accomplished executive manager with over 30 years working in and with professional service firms, will cover the financial fundamentals. She will also share with us the practical frameworks on how to use pricing effectively to create sustainable profits and improve client satisfaction.

This session is a chance to ask questions or discuss challenges you’ve faced in pricing, such as discounting, alternative fee arrangements or how to collaborate to get the best outcomes for your firm and for the client. Libby is an accomplished executive manager with a focus on helping professional service firms win and retain business and deliver value to their clients in a way that is sustainably profitable. With over 30 years of experience in professional service firms she has led pricing, marketing, business development, and legal project management roles at two major Australian law firms.

Both in-house and as a consultant, Libby has been instrumental in winning significant competitive bids to corporates and government. She has also trained and coached at all levels in legal, engineering, accounting, patent attorney and consulting firms and in financial services to enhance skills in managing major opportunities, have conversations to win business, and to price and manage projects in a way that both delivers and captures value. Libby has been an Accredited Legal Pricing Professional (ALPP) and an Accredited Legal Project Manager (ALPM) with the True Value Partnering Institute since mid 2019.
