Being able to write persuasively is a key skill BDM professionals need – whether they’re writing proposals, website content, event invitations, business cases – or even performance reviews. In this scenario-based training session, Sharon de Bomford will use practical examples to show you how to make your writing more influential.

Sharon de Bomford

Sharon has worked in leading Australian professional services firms for more than 20 years, specialising in client and stakeholder communications, as well as plain language services. Having held communication, marketing and business development management positions at Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, BakerMcKenzie and Sparke Helmore Lawyers, she is a true expert at strategic and effective communications. From this experience, she then moved on to run Write Results, starting in 2018, and has also been a guest lecturer in Applied Communications at RMIT. Before working in professional services, Sharon worked in marketing roles at Penguin Books and the not-for-profit sector.
